Sending Test Emails for Your Sequence Step Templates

When you're setting up an email sequence step template, it’s important to test it before sending it out to your prospects. Sending a test email helps to make sure that your sequences are set up correctly, allowing you to rest assured that your prospects will receive properly formatted emails.

Draft your email step in the sequence create or edit page

Click on the send icon in the email composer menu

Select the prospect who's data you would like used to fill in any merge tags (don't worry, the prospect will not receive a copy of the test message)

Type in the email address(es) that you would like to receive the test email

Press send and the test email will be sent to the specified addresses

1. Draft your email step in the sequence create or edit page
2. Click on the send icon in the email composer menu

3. Select the prospect who's data you would like used to fill in any merge tags (don't worry, the prospect will not receive a copy of the test message)

4. Type in the email address(es) that you would like to receive the test email

5. Press send and the test email will be sent to the specified addresses
