France DID Requirements

To activate a phone number in France through Symbo, you’ll need to submit a few required documents. These are regulatory requirements set by the French authorities, and documentation must be validated before the number can be provisioned.

Note: All number types in France require the end user to be physically located in France.

Local Numbers (France)

Personal Use

To register a local number for personal use, you’ll need:

• Full name

• Contact phone number

• Valid photo ID or passport (must be a scanned copy)

• Proof of address in France (utility bill, lease, etc. dated within the last 3 months)

• Address in France (street, number, postal code, city, country)

Business Use

For business use, the following is required:

• Full name of an authorized representative

• Company name

• Contact phone number

• Local company registration certificate

• Address in France (street, number, postal code, city, country)

• Proof of address (dated within the last 3 months)

National Numbers (France)

National numbers follow the same requirements as local numbers.

Personal Use

To register a national number for personal use, you’ll need:

• Full name

• Contact phone number

• Valid photo ID or passport (must be a scanned copy)

• Proof of address in France (utility bill, lease, etc. dated within the last 3 months)

• Address in France (street, number, postal code, city, country)

Business Use

For business use, the following is required:

Toll-Free Numbers (France)

Toll-free numbers are for business use only. The following is required:

Business Use

• Full name of an authorized company representative

• Company name

• Contact phone number

• Local company registration certificate

• Company registration number (SIREN)

• Address in France (street, number, postal code, city, country)

• Proof of address (dated within 3 months)

Private use is not permitted for toll-free numbers.
